Not many of the classic 7.62 target rifle books are left. Best one for a 44B owner would be Sweets 6th edtion of his shooting manual, which specifially deals with the model 44B

That said if you have model B check the twist and you may find it would well with the newer Palma bullets if it is a 1-12 twist, if a 1-13 twist, then you likely want to use a bullet no longer than the Sierra 2156 Palma bullet, which will be just OK at he long lines with a 1-13 twist.
