Rather interesting Nepalese(?) short percussion musket

Saw this hanging on the wall at my local gun shop, decided I needed another odd one hanging in my room.
It appears entirely handmade, however the lock MAY be real-ish. It's crude, but looks pretty well thought out. The pistol grip stock is pretty interesting, and when shouldered, feels pretty good!
The markings on the barrel also stand out. I'm guessing Nagari? Also some Arabic numerals next to it.
Then that old leather sling, which looks like it may or may not be 'handmade'.
Either way, it's very interesting to look at. I'm guessing Nepalese, or straight up 'Khyber Pass'. It still amazes me what can be churned out with the most basic of materials.

I don't think it's Nepalese. They generally are pretty close copies to British military and they are made better. I have three different types.

That's what I'd think. Looks like a classic. Nothing wrong with that, we've shown many and I still think they have a spot in themselves...

It does look likes its a Khyber pass. The stock really looks like it's out of that neck of the woods. The Nepalis did reverse engineer locks and manufacture copies of muskets but their quality, generally speaking, looked better than that. However that does look like an awesome addition to the cave.
