What are they worth these days? Military marked HS Model B
I picked one up in a private sale recently and am curious about what they are actually selling for, It is a High Standard Model B It is marked U.S. Property on the receiver and the barrel along with an Ordnance wheel on the receiver. It is in around 90% condition. I know they are pretty well up there in price, but don't have a real idea of the value. I think I got a fair deal at $600 but don't really know. Any opinions welcome. BTW, two mags with it,

You're right around fair value at $600. Civilian versions go for around $300.
By the way, this is the only gun I've owned thus far that can actually be taken apart wrong. TRUST ME. If you do take it apart, there is a very specific way to do so. If you do it wrong you'll spend HOURS trying to jiggle all the little bits out of the receiver to get it apart.
I read an account of someone that gave up and had a machinist cut the slide away to get his apart.

Thanks for the warning on disassembly. Sounds like I did ok on the price, not great, but ok.

Agreed. At 90% condition, I’d expect around $700 on Gunbroker.
A local gun store would probably ask $850 and sell it after, oh, two years or so haha.
Would love to see pictures of it!

Some folks asked for a photo. I hate to admit it, but I forgot. So I'll attempt to remedy that here.

I should probably take a pic of the other side and a close-up too. Will do it when I get some time. If you look close you can make out the "Property of U.S." on the side over the chamber.
