Manlicher Steyr M95 carbine customizationed for SS Officer
I have no idea if this is the right forum for this, but someone may be interested.
I found this in the Town Post. Not my cup of tea, and I make no representation, one way or the other.

When I saw this post, I had no idea it was in Toronto...I was raised close there. Can't imagine someone actually believing that. The flash eliminator lying there is from an FN...probably Canadian
too. Sad...

No, I think that was Hitler's personal rifle that he was using when he was "killed, fighting for Germany
". Actually, it is rather cute. Would kick like a mule with factory milsurp ammo. We used to buy crates of that ammo and shoot those little carbines. Great fun, but kickers, for sure.
If there ain't a gun range in heaven, then I'm going to hell.

Hey, it's a beautiful little rifle, excellent workmanship, I'd love to have it - but not for that ridiculous price! No collector value, of course, since it's been sporterized, even if it is beautifully done.
Just one point though: If you're going to pass off a $300 gun as belonging to an SS officer, you probably shouldn't engrave the LUFTWAFFE emblem on it. Just sayin'...
(I actually tried contacting the seller months ago; he doesn't respond.)

That would actually be funny if it wasn't so sad. I wonder if the seller is just that naive or if he made the SS bit up out of whole cloth.

Really, right? If you're going to be a forger, at least research your material!
I dunno, but I can't think of it as a Bubba special. Bubba's guns are usually converted with a hacksaw and an angle grinder. This is very well done indeed. It only got farcical when the guy tried to pass it off as an SS artifact. I'd even be willing to be convinced the Luft eagle might be genuine, if the engraving weren't so conspicuously fresh and shiny. I mean, if you're going to dress it up with a Luftwaffe emblem, you could at least try to claim it was one of Goering's personal hunting rifles...
Don't forget, this was a very popular Austrian sporter conversion back in the day. I've seen some very ornate Ferlach examples, like this one that was up for sale recently in Nova Scotia:
