Purely by good fortune I was on the forum within minutes of Brian posting this thread. I also had need of a Model 1918 scope. I asked him if he would help me buy it, & he very kindly did, so I'm sorry to say that it's no longer available. Brian & I agreed that I would make this posting to let everyone know the situation, as I gather whilst I was lucky enough to be the first, he has had a number of other pm's asking about the scope (quite understandably, under the circumstances). My (sincere) apologies if I got in before anyone else who had taken a fancy to it, but it will be going to a good home, I promise!
