Question on push type safety
I have had these push safeties for a very long time, is it possible from my photos to determine if these are original or not ?
Thanks RobertAttachment 104784Attachment 104785Attachment 104786

To me the finish on them does not appears to be original USGI. Plus little to no wear on them makes then appear to be reproductions.

I was thinking the same thing. And the stamping EP-B doesn't look quite right either. Font looks a little off.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

Interesting that Winchester only used "E" W instead of "EP" Same company Eaton Ponds.

Yes it is indeed. Perhaps to distinguish it was not BE, as in IBM Endicott? IBM trigger housings manufactured by the Endicott plant were marked in a few different ways. Like BE-B or B-EB.
So removing the 'P' on Eaton Pond safeties manufactured for IBM; EB. Total speculation of course.
