Is everyone agreed that Lawrence has read this part correctly? Any ideas on the RL, anyone, please?

I posted this medal on the British
Military Forum, asking for any input or information, and one gentleman suggested the the "RL" stands for Royal. I did a web search for the "Royal West Kent Regiment" and TADA, there it was. I may have screwed up in the punctuation, but I do believe this to be correct.
