The Tricompensator is the way to go. I had an SAI BM-59 (Serial 85x) back in the 1990's and was allowed to shoot Service Rifle with it at Fort Richardson - until some of the top shooters noticed I had NO Muzzle Rise during the rapid fire stages. The Range Officer didn't really care, but, under pressure, told me I had to bring an M1 or an M1Aicon from now on.
