You wouldn't think that just a couple thousandths would make a difference to where the point of the rearward assist lever touches the bolt plug, but it does. It's the difference between decent cycling and silk smooth cycling, so..... Back to the CNC for a bit of reprogramming. The bridge and bottom plate are functioning perfectly and I'm very happy with it. Monday we'll run two more profiles of the rearward assist and one of them is bound to be the right one.
I'm almost as excited about this particular unit as I was the one we developed our first thousand yard P/S diopter. It's been a long time coming.
The G 11 series BiPod adapter with the rail is already in the approved prototype stage and will be coming down the pike shortly. The next new item in the line will of course be the 22 caliber insert project for the K 31.
