With two clips of standard issue AP ammo. That started, as I understand during Korea. They needed a better cartridge and AP apparently held it's momentum and accuracy better than ball ammo...

As late as a few years ago AP was selling for $1.00 a round because competition shooters wanted it because of it's accuracy.
Who knows today?

I believe it started during WWII, first in Europe then in the Pacific. Anyone notice he is listed as a sergeant in Lebanon then his tombstone is listed as corporal?
