Arisaka value questions

Hey gents- I'm trying to help a neighbor find out what exactly she has and a rough estimate of value. I know less than nothing about Japanese rifles from WW2. So, hopefully you guys can tell me a bit about these. One gentleman was kind enough to tell me this is a 99? And the stock might not be correct? Anyway, I have no skin in the game. It's my neighbor's rifle, so you won't hurt my feelings, but with the full mum, I told her it may have some value to it.

It's a T99 alright but I dont know enough about them to say whether or not the stock is correct for that series or not.
It's not in original condition, i.e. missing parts, so that alone cancels out any extra value the mum may have added, IMO.
