Only that pandemics seem to originate from that country was not SARS one of them! This hit the world at an alarming rate I mean did every one eat at the fish market it went ballistic really it was not a few months to get into its stride it flew the coop pretty fast to nearly every corner of the globe.
A 60 minutes program is sensational journalism in saying that they the Chinese let 5 milion people out with this virus I find that hard to believe personnally but I am not ruling out foul play as now the Chinese have a cure apparently so kill a few thousand of you own then quite quickly you have a cure it may be a marginal view but plenty of other places eat questionable things but they never seem to get these viruses that decimate people, its like a Red October on a grand scale.

On China, did they succeed in stopping it or are they still hiding the truth. And then theirs the possibility this was a deliberate move on their part. Sacrifice a few of their own to create this mess worldwide. You would think that no, this will destroy their economy as well but what's up with buying up property and assets in Australia
when everyone is devoting all fund go to fighting this and the economic disaster it's creating. I still don't think it's a coincidence this all started in the area their biological research facility is located. There was also the propaganda campaigns, "hug a Chinese". I'm not saying this is what's going on but I'm not discounting the possibility also.
In the long run, I can say with some assurance that this will wake up the masses of the US who are naturally paranoid about this sort of thing anyway. Our production will be moving out of China and the willingness to trade with them will dramatically decrease. In a way, I don't think the Chinese are that dumb to bring that upon themselves which lessens the possibility this was a planned action on their part.
Here we have the biggest clown in this whole affair, Cuomo, becoming a hero in his state because he gets on the TV and complains about things loudly enough. 87% approval ratings. Now there's more talk of the Presidential nomination for him. Not sure it will translate well to the rest of the nation as we are all sitting here watching NY under his leadership become 50% of the problem in the nation. They are about 30% now and rapidly rising.
Trump has extended the voluntary shutdown until the end of April now. No Easter opening.

Extension of the lock-down period is expected also over here.
I wonder how long the authorities can play with people's patience before feeling the need to give some answers.
It will definitely start being a problem if no-one starts talking seriously in the next future.

We already have problems with people staying at home just for the 15 day spell we have been given. Yesterday they were moving around in force, if we're given another half month or month they might just lose patience and toss it in a bin, go back to normal times. They aren't disciplined or able to handle being told what to do. Also, we aren't getting any reasoning that makes sense here. Everything is contradicted...

We are not in full lock down yet regional travel restrictions become law as I stated 31st Tuesday midnight and 2 people gatherings max in public, police have drones now complete with blue/red flashing lights, siren and speaker to watch parks and beaches they have started fines for non compliance with gatherings and lockdown breakers. Our PM is saying this may or will be a 6 month + episode for us depending on how the curve goes which at present for Australia
is going down but here in Western Australia the graph is going up not a good sign.
It was said you can become secondary infected even if you have recovered from it initially this is where the authorities must be sure to have it beaten as to let the restrictions off and the whole show will start over again.

The grand plan Jim is to place as many people out of harm's way as possible, while Covid 19 infects others until it runs out of viable hosts and starts to dissipate. The problem is that in our densely populated cities, it will have plenty of new hosts, now matter how careful the lockdown ... People can't live in laboratory conditions after all.
A vaccine presents risks in itself, as the virus has no need to evolve while it's reproduction is unhindered.
A vaccine could well see a future outbreak of Covid 19 on steroids, as it adaps to counter the vaccine. Perhaps presenting the world with a considerably more lethal outbreak.

The anti-malaria drugs have been emergency authorized for us by the FDA. The media isn't talking about it because it was one of the things Trump was pushing and they can't afford to allow him to look good in all this. Some networks are also no longer carrying his daily briefs. This is pretty big news and even Drudge isn't talking about it. Drudge hates Trump. They've been pushing the Cuomo narrative.
It's a real shame that the left remains concentrated on eliminating Trump rather than combating this virus.
Have not seen new numbers for NY yet. Pa had another increase of around 600 or so new cases, so 500, 500, 600, 600 over the last four days. Not leveling off yet but not going out of control either and this is all with increased testing all over.
I made a Walmart run this morning. Needed healthier snacks. Got some seeds for the garden which some are recommending although another person pointed out that our garden is where anyone could potentially take the food before we can harvest it. It's not at my house. Peroxide was actually in supply for the first time so I got a small spray bottle of that and a larger one to refill it with. Probably keep it in the car to wipe down the wheel and door handles and my cell phone which I dropped on the floor. Toilet paper ads on the TV trying to get people to stop panicking, there's plenty, they are making more. wasn't a single roll at Walmart. Quite a bit of traffic today, not sure why, stores were not that busy. Most everything else is closed.

We in the UK
should hit the peak on the 15th April, lets see what happens but if people do as they are told its hopeful, to flatten the curve. At some stage a vaccine or remedy should be on the market, but without knowing the cause, how can you find the solution!!
However, and early return to work in China has spiked a new spread, so it proves too early is not a good remedy it appears!!
'Tonight my men and I have been through hell and back again, but the look on your faces when we let you out of the hall - we'd do it all again tomorrow.' Major Chris Keeble's words to Goose Green villagers on 29th May 1982 - 2 PARA

That's usually what happens when people self treat, they make it resistant.

Same as the flu, no one is above it.
