Wow that is impressive! I am curious about how you set up your gun drill/rifling. I have toyed with the idea of making a rifling machine at some point, my idea would use a adjustable taper and a rack and pinion turning a small chuck which holds the tool steel for cutting the rifling. My thought simply being rifling is basically really long, shallow threading

By changing the size of the pinion it will change the twist. ( teeth count). Rack runs the length of the gun drill. No taper used. Light scraps, sharp tool.
