    I started to collect anything to do with the KINGS ROYAL RIFLES when I bidded and won a telescope with a famous Officers name on it, which I have mentioned with photos before so if you are interested you can search the site for it.
    He was Lt Colonel Humphrey Francis William BIRCHAM DSO who was killed in action near Pozierre on July the 23rd 1916 in WW1, he was CO of the 2nd Battalion of a very famous Regiment.
