Remove bolt, magazine floor plate, spring and follower and check for:
1. Gap between magazine box and bottom of reciever just below feed ramp. Much of a gap will let the sharply pointed fmj rounds hang up while the blunt tipped sp's will be more apt to ride over it. If theres a gap disassemble the rifle and make sure the mag box is fitted correctly. When ready to reassemble turn the barreled action trigger up and fit the mag box in place then set the stock down over it being careful not to disturb the mag box. Next, with the rifle still upside down replace the trigger guard assembly and hold it in place while you replace the action screws. Once the screws are properly tightened replace the follower, spring and floor plate last after double checking the mag box fit.
2.magazine box is bent letting the action bottom form a ledge just below the feed ramp. If this is the case disassemble and straighten the mag box so theres a smooth transition between it and reciever.Information
