I have mentioned them several times in conversations on the current situation (cluster). We could use some Roof Top Koreans (or any other good citizens) right about now.

I always admired the rooftop koreans...
In certain situations, they show the border between protest and plain criminal abuse...

They may or may not be Korean, but I believe you will see armed citizens tonight.
I can't believe the true protesters can't figure out they are being used as lambs tied down so the Looters, Rioters, Murderers can do as they please.
Why not loot and kill in NYC?........ No one can be armed to protect themselves.
Lord protect our Police and Nat Guard.

This is a Sheriff:
"Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said at a press conference on Monday that homeowners should shoot any looters who break into their homes during protests that broke out following the death of George Floyd."
Story here:
A Florida sheriff told residents to shoot looters who came into their homes

I don’t like the racial aspect of this thing, but I appreciate that a Sheriff can see beyond it and allow citizens to defend themselves.
There are too many phoney people around to make things really better...
But... no politics here. Almost

Charlie-- That kind of reminds me of when several Iraqis tried to blew open a safe with a RPG-7 at close range, destroyed the safe, themselves and a safe full of worthless old Saddam "dollars". Real Darwin award winners. Losers on all accounts.

Just an update from yesterday's post. Bat *hit crazy at the gunshop yesterday again everyone is in panic mode buying firearms. Arrived at work, our Troy Defense distributor was waiting with 20 new Troy Defense Ind. A4 Other Firearms. Regular AR platforms are now gone and I do not see any new stock for the foreseeable future. Yesterday the last of the standard service sized framed 9mm pistols went P320, Glock 17, S&W M&P9. etc went. The Troy A4 Other Firearms were selling like crazy. These are not cheap gun! Average price is about $1435.00 US dollars. With the strict gun laws in NJ this is the only option to get a "gun" with all of the bells whistles that you can not own on a regular semi-auto AR style rifle. Just for informational purpose, when NJ enacted the "assault" weapons ban in 1995. The law applied to semi-auto pistols, rifles and shotguns, but the politicians forgot that under Federal law there are four categories of firearms, pistols, rifles, shotguns and Other. Other being a catch-all for firearms that do not meet the definitions of Pistol, rifle and shotgun. so when the NJ legislature enacted the "assault" weapons ban they forgot the "Other" category. Americans being an Enterprizing group of folks came out with an "Other Firearms" with all of the illegal features of the assault weapons ban.
