FN M1924 Mauser carbine (Mexican contract)
Here's a scarce one. FN M1924 Mauser carbine, Mexican contract. It has definitely been around the block. Stock has been painted black, and appears that it was done a very long time ago. Upper handguard is definitely handmade.
I'll bet this one could tell some stories!

Found Cyrillic markings on the bolt, and bolt release lever. Also Cyrillic markings on trigger (oval with line running vertically through it) Possible Yugoslavian 'Nish' carbine that got rerouted to the Mexican contract? Also an interesting marking on the extractor. Really curious about the black paint...its been on it a helluva long time. Even the inside of the stock is painted. I'm torn about removing it, if it's something important, I'm leaving it. Kinda like the way it looks.
