He's right. Heck looking at my boxes of Sierra bullets, all Match King, no crimp grooves. When I had custom bullets made for my BR rig, no crimp groove. My stuff follows in that only the military bullets have the crimp groove. Hornady .303 and 8mm for me. My Norma 6.5x55s do not have the groove however.
