    Here things are quieting down.
We have the government and their political side trying to keep the tension high in order to get to the September regional elections still in a crises mode, which normally helps the ruling side.
    But people have had enough.
Of all the talk made about emergency plans, help for workers and businesses, opening of schools... almost nothing has been realised.
We’ll pay dearly for it in September. There are already unmistakeble signs of the crises we’re getting into.
For what concerns me, Tuesday evening I drove the Family to Milan, to see the Grandma and one of the uncles, who got the Covid and got through.
Yesterday I took my wife and the kids and spent the day in Milan, before driving back home, leaving them there.
Milan looks like a city just starting to recover from an enormous shock.
Vehicle traffic is up, but there are very few people on the sidewalks.
We went to the Duomo Square and it was practically empty. We even went on top of the Duomo, which usually requires a lot of patience due to the long queues to get the tickets and go up.
They’re down from 10.000-15.000 visitors per day to 200.
We were never with more than 6 other people up there.
One of the guards also took half an hour to show us around and tell us lots of things about all the restauration works etc.
He took my youngest daughter in great simpathy and joked a lot with her, telling her to take a very good note about the day, because even Obama and Michelle could not see the Duomo by themselves, being surrounded by 30 secret service people
I’m wondering how things will develop in the US.
This pandemic has become a hostage in the political struggle for this years elections, which is a very bad thing, especially for those who suffer, physically or economically...
