Here things are quieting down.
We have the government and their political side trying to keep the tension high in order to get to the September regional elections still in a crises mode, which normally helps the ruling side.
But people have had enough.
Of all the talk made about emergency plans, help for workers and businesses, opening of schools... almost nothing has been realised.
We’ll pay dearly for it in September. There are already unmistakeble signs of the crises we’re getting into.
For what concerns me, Tuesday evening I drove the Family to Milan, to see the Grandma and one of the uncles, who got the Covid and got through.
Yesterday I took my wife and the kids and spent the day in Milan, before driving back home, leaving them there.
Milan looks like a city just starting to recover from an enormous shock.
Vehicle traffic is up, but there are very few people on the sidewalks.
We went to the Duomo Square and it was practically empty. We even went on top of the Duomo, which usually requires a lot of patience due to the long queues to get the tickets and go up.
They’re down from 10.000-15.000 visitors per day to 200.
We were never with more than 6 other people up there.
One of the guards also took half an hour to show us around and tell us lots of things about all the restauration works etc.
He took my youngest daughter in great simpathy and joked a lot with her, telling her to take a very good note about the day, because even Obama and Michelle could not see the Duomo by themselves, being surrounded by 30 secret service people

I’m wondering how things will develop in the US.
This pandemic has become a hostage in the political struggle for this years elections, which is a very bad thing, especially for those who suffer, physically or economically...

King Murphy has determined to let the indoor ranges open back up on July 2. We have been running classroom instruction on the basics of firearms unfortunately without the range time. With social distancing still in effect the classes have been full. The crowds are different this time. Usually I get the guy who last fired a weapon in the Army in the late 50's or Johnny Kool Tactical all decked out in his black tactical gear who wants to roll in the dirt and play hard *ss. This time its different I am getting a lot of folks of the "liberal" side of the political spectrum who up to six months would not think about buying a firearm and learning how to shoot. Hopefully the next time gun control comes up in NJ, the folks buying the guns now will remember. We are living in interesting times to say the least. It is interesting how little understanding of human nature that the politicians have. Everyone stay safe and healthy. The next life that you save may be your own.

Things are quite strange now. We live in a sort of state of limbo. The statistics of the disease are good and the medical situation keeps improving, but the foolish communication policy of our "leaders", virologists, doctors keeps a high pace.
No-one agrees on anything. The more we seem to get out of trouble, the more some people spread panic.
We were expecting things to take a further step in the right direction with the beginning of July, but instead, things are getting worse internationally.
Flights to some destinations like UK
, Turkey
and USA
get canceled on short notice or without any notice, Germany
seems to be getting in trouble, the US stats look very bad.
But nobody tells us what really happens.
Here in Italy
, the few positive cases are mostly completely without any symptoms. How about those in the rest of the world?
In the meantime, work is exploding. I'm getting crazy like in the worst days of normal years.
I'm absolutely disgusted, particularly because too many people talk and so it is as if nobody was talking.
We can also add the weirdest coalitions of donkeys ruling our country, which makes for very dire forecasts. Economically speaking.

Folks are getting back into panic mode with the increases in COVID-19 in other states. We got two "live dinosaur eggs" yesterday, A Glock 19 Generation 3 and a Glock 43. We felt like a bunch of kids looting a candy store. Hopefully we will be getting more in soon. I saw that report from CNN, but considering their views to make the news worst than it is. It is just the usual swine flu that comes out of China each year. My concern would be people with weaken immune systems from COVID-19 getting the flu which would make it more deadlier. That and with the upcoming Presidential election folks will be a further panic buying mode. It seems like it is a never ending cycle. We are selling lots of ammunition which we have no problem getting. It seems that manufacturers are ahead of the power curve and are producing the main popular calibers, 9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62x39, .45ACP, 38 Special, 40 S&W and 12 guage buckshot loads. Stay safe and healthy.

Victoria has discovered just was loose restrictions can have they have suburb lock downs and the govt has called in the Army to aid the police in keeping those in the hotspots in house, fines being caught out of your quarantined zone is $11,000/AUD or 6 months in jail.
People just don't get it I mean you had the red necks touting guns expressing their rites and the BLM marches and look what happens the virus has run rampant this thing is not a joke it will infect you and may kill you what did all their squawking do but give it a freeway to take off again.
Yes it was pretty sad what happened twice in the matter of a few days but this virus does not care, if the sheeple wont dig in and obey what the medical people are saying then I am afraid the death toll in the USA
could be 3-4 times more than what is currently on record.

Yes it seems some of the old favourites are dwindling in certain areas here too like GGG 7.62X51 and some of the good .22 stuff too. Blimey how are we all expected to stop the Zombie Pandemic when it comes

That's been the reality for decades. From a military perspective, the goal has been in some states, and for a long time, to develop race-specific viruses or those that can be weaponized through retaining effective and rapid treatments in the country of origin, which those whom the weapon is used against either do not have or will not use due to their internal politics/economics.
It is in fact better than the neutron bomb for clearing living space, and ideally completely anonymous.
