Milling #4 receiver for 762 mag, info needed

Hi all,

I'm gearing up to start an L42 clone and need my receiver milled to accept the Enfield 7.62 mag.

Does anyone have the measurements of the cuts? Depth etc...

The truth is that you may not need anything.

If you are planning to use a UK "L8" magazine the clearance cuts are for the cartridge retaining "feed lips" - but I have used "L8" mags with no alterations to the action.

If you are using a Sterling or modified Indian 2A magazine, the feed lips are within the same location as the .303 magazine, and will not require any changes.
