Krag Flush Loading Gate Conversion
I've had this type of rifle on my radar for a while and finally ran across a cheapie on GunBroker. Looks pretty nicely done.
Can't wait to get it in. I'm thinking a nicer stock, maybe a banded Redfield or Lyman front sight, and I have a Rice peep sight I can put on it. Should be a slick little rifle!
(PM me if you have a nice looking stock!)
I've attached some pics from the listing. Anyone else have one like this? Would love to see yours too!

I saw some photos of some custom Krags from the 1930's, some had new stocks that
covered the loading gate area. Magazine held two rounds plus one in chamber while
some were single shot in 219 Zipper or 22-3000 R2

That would be double cool if the caliber was changed too.
I’ll get some more pics up of everything when it comes in.

One of the most difficult calibers to convert in a Krag
action was 25-35 Winchester, this being a regular non modified magazine.
