    Are your stocks sanded? Ive thought this was a possibility for a long time. I've now been collecting for a few years and I've seen very few with the holes. I put this post up to have someone give a reasonable explanation to why theyre not combat related. I would guess the occasional left side holes would come up.

    One looks to have been lightly sanded, the other was not sanded it the one with the most and the deepest. Both have issues though and only got them for experimenting and practicing crack repairs.

    I guess sanding doesnt matter. Looking at the left stock is how I imagine mine was. Maybe more holes. Thank you for showing yours. I have not found another with the holes. Its nice to see someone else with some.
