If it doesn’t have the scallop for the ejection port it is not a Mark 1 stock.

My thoughts precisely. Thought I would bounce it off of those with greater knowledge than myself. The price of the rifle was negotiated downward appropriately due to this fact. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. Best regards, H.T.
