Yes, I much prefer the m1 carbine, both my great granfather and my granfather had m1 carbines during the war. Im certain you would have lots of interesting information.

EDITED to add, us canucks will likely not be buying m1 carbines from the US, since the prices are higher down south, and import fees would only make even more expensive. However, demand and intrest in the m1 carbine is just as high here as demand is for m1 garands, IMHO.
