That was my point - having BSA markings it cannot be a Mk1*
Maybe I was a bit too subtle (its not like me but I guess there is always a 1st time !)

And that was my point.......as the first photo's posted by the OP clearly showed the M47C and the 1" marking......(not a 1*)
