People have been sending them here hand over fist so I'd guess they have them in stock. Heading to the Post Office to ship two completed SMLE's back to the owners now. It pays to call and ask. Those who rely on emails with places like Sarco will most likely come up short.

A UK
dealer had a truck full of SMLE barrels a few years ago, they were South African take off barrels, I had a few off him, not sure if he has any now.

I have heaps. I contracted Lothar Walther to make them for me and I’ve got standard and H profile as well as more no4 barrels in .303 and .308 due late this month.
I export to Canada
and NZ
and I don’t charge for the export permit.
These are great barrels and do the job well.
For fitting you need to take up the last 35 degrees to time them and finish chamber the last few thou to get them to headspace. If you can’t manage this you shouldn’t be fitting barrel.

They show up here as well. At least the No.4 ones, haven't seen any No.1 ones.

Do you know if they export to the US for the No.1 barrels?

Are the Walther barrels hammer-forged?
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

I emailed Lothar-Walther and they said they will look into making the No1 barrels available in the US. The representative that responded said he thought there may have been import restrictions but he would find out.
