Three different versions of the No.32 Mk1 Tel. Stg. adjusting tool
I was sorting through my collection of No.32 Mk1 tools as was surprised to find that there was some variation. Variations shown are with screw size and location. I have never seen one broad arrowed or with manufacturer's code.

Then of course there is the "No32 Adjusting tool No1 Mk1" (apparently rarer than hens teeth)
According to Peter Laidler
they were so useless that they were all scrapped.
I had to buy that separately to the No4T as the seller (initially) refused to sell it.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Here is one for you Paul. A non-standard pattern Mk I tool made and marked by S261, Rex Meters Ltd, Kingsbury Works, Romford, Essex. As you can see they skipped the brass insert, which I have never figured out why it was there in the first place? Picked up half a dozen from a collector 20+ years ago in London still new in grease as extra's for any snipers I picked up lacking tools.
Went through my T's and like yours I have the screw size and location variation but no broad arrows on anyone.

And there was another, reportedly made for use at RSAF(E).
I'd add a photo, which I have posted before here, but the photo no longer appears in the File Upload Manager. There seems to be a limit to what can be accessed there, with older photos disappearing as new ones are added?
