I've got one of those LB SMLE barrels here I believe. Must see if it has a date on it.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
Edward Bernays, 1928

Know they exist but have never seen one. How are they marked?

The one I have is marked on the left side of the Knox with the small "LB" stamp. It has the Dominion of Canada
proof and small "C-Broad Arrow" on the right rear of the Knox. The flat has the number 824 stamped on with 1/8" stamps. There's no date and it doesn't have a rear sight base installed.
