    If you do you homework, there are few really new cartridges. All developed decades ago under another name.

    Interesting, how many cartridge case lengths are in inches - USAicon, Britishicon, Germanicon, Russianicon, etc
    19= ¾" 9mm
    25= 1" Tok
    39= 1½" AK
    45= 1¾" 223
    51= 2" 308
    57= 2¼" Mauser
    63= 2½" 30-06
    etc
