Well.......
If the photo was taken in the Suez Canal sometime in 1914, then it can't be any of the four Iron Duke Class, as none of them were anywhere near the Med in 1914 or even at anytime during WW1.
So, either its not the Suez Canal in 1914, or its not one of the Iron Duke class.
Just the thing for putting round holes in square heads.

Funnels wrong shape for Repulse.
As Aragorn says, its one of the King George V Class or Iron Duke Class Battleships.
Which would mean though that the photo wasn't taken in the Suez canal in 1914 though, as non of them saw service in the Med just before or during WW1.

A lot of things wrong for the Repulse.
What are you using to determine service history? I've been too lazy to try to find mine yet. A lot of my books are buried.

Got off my butt and can confirm none of these ships were in the Mediterranean until 1919. I also am narrowing it down to the Iron Dukes for sure. Stacks are the same size and the rear has the spotlights. King George ships have two differently shaped stacks, no spotlights.

Great festive season puzzle

One the other hand... covering my bets
Could it be an Iron Duke with an altered rear mast? The trouble with identification silhouettes is that many WW1 survivors were modified later. One really needs an illustrated modification history of each ship!
