Our Governor put the state on a partial lockdown and then apparently left for Florida. No one knows where he is for sure but he's apparently at his Florida home for the holidays. Florida of course is a Republican run state that does not have lockdowns. So he went to enjoy himself where he isn't going to be regulated.
Needless to say, people here are FURIOUS. Lawyers are jumping all over themselves to tell every business to ignore the current mandate. An Italianrestaurant that defeated the Governor in court is also telling everyone to ignore him. Hundreds are but these hundreds are all being visited by polite people just doing their jobs and putting closed notices on all the front doors after explaining why they are doing it and being told they will just remove it once they leave. It's going trough the motions. Sheriffs and DA's in most counties are refusing to enforce or prosecute. A few counties however are. Not hard to figure out which party the DA belongs to in those counties. All those people have to do is drive to the next county if they want to eat out, they are in the minority.
I personally don't have a huge desire to eat out. Rarely did before. We ate at Hoss's twice during the pandemic. I don't think we ate out anywhere else this entire time. Picked a lot of food up and took it home but that isn't dine in. I do miss my all you can eat Chinese Buffet.
People are moving closer and closer to stringing some people up I'm afraid. The governor, the health secretary, the taddle tail neighbors, who will it be. All have been nominated. I've seen a few posts on social media that should have the police investigating. People are really on edge too. In a normal year, the taking of a shoveled out parking space was bad news, this year, it involves a conspiracy of talk and planning on what's going to happen if they don't move in half an hour. Neighbor went on a rant and was pounding on everyone's doors up and down the street the other day.Information
