1907 dated Enfields

.303 No.1 Mk III H, Australian Marksman Rifle" which is described to be originally manufactured by RSAF Enfield 1907, but converted by Lithgow 1937.

This may tie in with why my 5MD NoI MkIII H 1916 has a '37 replacement barrel................I really should read my books to learn more on these rifles
