Our neighborhood unit was on "active duty" from about 1953-1957. Most of our "maneuvers" were carried out in pear orchards and the surrounding hills. All of us were well equipped with items from a local War Surplus Store. I have lots of good memories from those days, and also the Daisy Model 25 Pump "I carried" back then. - Bob
