Eurika!
Hi Folks,
I found you! Been looking for a site like this for a long time. I'm not a hard-core milsurp guy, but I own a M1903, M1917, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine M1A and a Remington Rand M1911A1. I've carried the Garand and M14 in the USMC and just have an interest in all US military firearms.
I'm looking forward to learning a lot here and, hopefully, be able to make some contributions as well.
Mike

Hi All
New member form the UK. I have over 15 years collecting experience. No surprise but I have a special interest in the Lee Enfield Rifles. Look forward to reading and discussing these superb service arms.

New guy on block
My name is Ross. I have been interested in Military weapons ever since John Wayne first flashed a 1911 semi-auto pistol in a war movie. I started by buying several battle rifles (about eight) about twenty years ago, then got diverted by life. I just got serious about the whole thing this year, and spent many, many dollars on some seriously fine weapons (rifles and pistols), and now have almost forty rifles and pistols in some very attractive displays in my library. Eventually I drifted into wanting sniper rifles-I know, expensive drift- and that's where I am now. I'm converting some '03-A3 to sniper clone configuration and some M1 Garands into "D" configuration. I also have mounts for the Enfield and the Mauser and have some scopes ready to mount and other scopes mounted on other rifles. With any luck I will be holding an M1C in my hot little hands by late July. (Pray for me!)
I'm a few years from retirement, and think that WWII weapons are the next big thing in the military collecting world. I'm thinking that my money spent now will double within the next ten years. Since my retirement fund just took a thirty percent hit, that would be a good thing. It would be nice to know what anyone reading thinks about this theory. Do I get more "bang for my buck" with this investment strategy? (pun fully intended)
I'm having fun doing this, although the more I acquire, the more I want. The more I learn, the more I realize just how little I know. I've enjoyed harvesting some of the collective wisdom here on the site. Thanks, Ross

Hi all.
New member. Have an Enfield Mk 4 and a Carl Gustav 6.5 Swede. Also on CGN and Hunting BC under same name.
Not really a collecter per se, as I like to use the firearms I own as opposed to look at them.
Also teach the CORE Progarm.
