P14 “project” pics
Hello, I came into an Eddystone P14 sporterized for free from a family member. The action, barrel etc was intact and in great shape but the bolt was not numbers matching (headspace good).Given the purchase price, I thought it would be a good pandemic project. I picked up a super cheap, repaired DP stock and then pieced together the remaining parts. I know they aren’t all matching and not perfect but she turns out to be a pretty good shooter that I have about $140 total into it. My goal was to leave all the battle scars intact. I shot a few rounds this weekend and the grouping was tight. I’ll also came into a sporterized 1917 for free and it will be my next project. I will be much more picky in the stock selection for that one as the numbers all match
