Ovidio; can you get the rifle shipped to you? In France
you can send them in two packages; the bolt would be sent seperately 48 hours later.
For a single shot .22 we just need to register it with the authorities with proof of firearms licence etc. We do not need prior approval for these types.

Great price for the rifle!! Especially with the target rear sight. Hopefully the barrel is not worn out. I have one with the Parker Hale PH5A rear sight. It is a tack driver.

I have a 1916 LSA that I have shared here before. It is a Canadian
one with the Cooey sight. Mine is Canadian C Broad arrow stamped on the receiver as well as the sight. It is great fun. Regular .22 is quiet, but with subsonic it is really quiet. I have to say, I paid more for mine than the two that are being talked about.
I think I saw "PH" peeking out from underneath the handguard forward of the cancelled "DP". on the barrel knox. Maybe one of the ones converted by Parker Hale? The one I have was done by BSA.
Here are a couple pics.....
Flatheadsal, pretty neat that yours is an LSA too.

Was the Cooey sight fitted for the Military? Or was it just for civilan target work?
I ask; because if it's officially a military trainer sight; it should be legal in the Service Rifle trainer class. That would be excellent!

It does have a PH under the handguard is that Parker Hale? This thing is just covered with stamps, letters, striked out letters and symbols it looks like an old steamer trunk that has been around the world a couple times.
