Yesterday I reloaded 50 rounds of .357 Wad Cutters. Today I'll reload 9x21.
I'm running out of that handgun powder, unfortunately, but I can still load .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, all my rifle calibers...
And it won't last forever anyway. People are starting to show massive psychological problems.
My doctor, just to make an example, when I went there 6 weeks ago for my medical certificate necessary to renew the gun permit, gave me the wrong change after paying. So I told her she gave me too much. Gave me the wrong invoice, and I told her. Then, seeing how confused she was, I just sat down and told her to sit down too. She obliged, and I asked her how things were, if people were really (as I was hearing from military doctors I know) having more and more stress symptoms and psychological trouble. And she confirmed 100%. She told me that, after Christmas, when the expectations of some more freedom were crushed, there had been a rapid growth of those problems.
Now, with more and harder limitations every day, all the crap told about vaccines and their alleged dangers, things are getting worse.
In these days, although we should only get out of home for work, necessary shopping and physical activity (in the immediate proximity of home), I keep seeing people going out and just taking air. Walking, shopping, smoking a cigarette out of the bar...
Maybe this is the classical, Italian
, flexible revolution. Just stop listening to the authorities and exercise passive disobedience. A few get fined, the vast majority escapes, so more and more people do it.
Until spring will bring about the lessening of the disease and the government will be able to say they did well and loosen things up again.
I lost a lot of respect for plenty of authorities and institutions, but I don't care too much.

Well, I hope everybody has been safe. It has been 90 days since I tested positive for the COVID-19. I wish I can get a straight answer from some one about taking the vaccine. I had one doctor tell me one year, another tell me 10 months, and another tell me 90 days. Since the last time I updated everyone I have quit the gunshop, as the owner who is one of most unscrupulous people I have ever met tried to do an end run on me after he gave me the COVID-19 and ended up in bed for three weeks. Within three days I had another job working as a gunsmith with an honest owner. The gun and ammunition business are at all time highs especially with the current push for gun control. After the mass shooting in Atlanta yesterday, it will only get worst and all bets are off. I have actually managed to get out weekly with my brother to shoot. Last Thursday I took out my 7.62mm NATO M1C that I had made up when I was shooting for the US Army. It was the first time in 30 years that I shot that rifle. It was still dead on the target. Today my brother and I are going to do some pistol shooting. Stay safe and peace to everyone.

It's a year since we went into proper lockdown in France. That first lockdown was good; only essential supplies open. But since re-opening in May last year; the French
Gouvernment have lost the plot.
They currently have a curfew from 18.00 to 06.00am. So you can go to work in the week, but can't do your shopping because everything is closing up when you knock off. So this means everyone has to cram in the Supermarket on Saturday! So much for social distancing!
The Paris ICU occupancy has been going up; when it went pas 80% they said they'd consider another lockdown. It's now at 102% and still no lock down.
The astra Zeneca jab has been pulled in many EU countries due to blood clot issues. Maker's say there's no problem. But my 88 year old Mum had the jab in February and had a stroke 3 weeks later! Is it linked? who can say; but she's not the only one apparently.

Take out ALL Politics in this whole pandemic, and listen ONLY to the Scientific experts.
To provide assurance in specifically the Astra Zeneca vaccine, and all the negativity from European countries all acting on a knee jerk reaction by Norway
, who started this doubt, and whether it causes blood clots.
One has to only look at England
, not Northern Ireland, Wales or Scotland, we, in England, have 1800 + or - odd blood clot victims a month, before this vaccine arrived, and I am sure other countries have the same, so why the sudden link that AZ is to blame???
Who knows, but any delay in administering the vaccine into peoples arms WILL cause unecessary death.
I am really surprised, because, not only the World Health Organisation experts cleared the vaccine, the European Medicine Agency also cleared it, along with the strict UK regulators.
It would be interesting to see how this scare started and why, I am sure it will come out in the wash!!!!

We’re in the hands of less than mediocre politicians and, looking at their communicative skills, also scientists...

Amen! How much better off we’d be, in many regards, if we all followed that simple advice!!

People die from vaccines all the time. You rarely hear about it unless you're in the anti-vax crowd. On average 9 people out of 140 million die from the flu vaccine in the US every year. That sort of number doesn't prevent me from getting a flu shot every year. Numbers of deaths from the two stage vaccine have been reported around the world. A German
nursing home had an alarming number of it's residents die after getting the second dose. It always seems to be after the second.
There was a nationally publicized death of a young mother in the health care industry that got the first dose and had no problems at all but almost immediately after the second went into a dramatic downward spiral that resulted in her death in a few days.
I'm scheduled for the Johnson and Johnson vaccine soon from the school. My wife got hers on Saturday as I mentioned earlier. I have no issues with this one but do have some concerns with the RNA based types.
As for effectiveness, should be for the rest of your life for that specific variant. The problem is, it mutates. That's why you have to get a new flu shot every year. Once your body learns how to produce anti-bodies, it doesn't forget. It just doesn't recognize the mutated form. I think we are up to three, maybe for variants now, all close enough to the original that the vaccines still protect against them.
Meanwhile, child suicides are skyrockting. Think about this a little. The older I get, the faster time seems to fly. I mean seriously a year of Covid? Seems like about four months. But when you were a kid, Christmas, your birthday, summer off, etc seemed to take forever to get here. And they are cooped up with a ton of anxiety and fear dumped on them. They can't handle it. And they require contact. Social and physical contact are essential for kids mental health.
And my personal mental health highlights include getting packages delivered. Yet the Post Office can't seem to get that right. I had a helmet get shipped about 100 miles from New Jersey to here that sat in Lancaster for a week and then went on a side trip to the nations capital. Now I'm waiting on a book that again is coming from New Jersey, was supposed to be here Monday, they lost track of it until this afternoon when I learned it made it to Lancaster. So will it sit for a week, go to Washington DC?
And in another weird twist of packages. I'm getting books now from the UK
in a week. It used to take so long that I forgot what was coming and was surprised when I opened it. I'm talking a month and a half to two months for some of them.
I heard on the news that a few school districts are now planning to open on April 1st. I didn't catch which ones but at this stage, what's the point, they get out the first week of June. I can't imagine what these kids are going through. Seniors are graduating into a world where they are having trouble with college admissions, some colleges aren't even open for in person classes. Testing hasn't been done for over a year now. I'm just glad I have no family members that are school age. My grandson is 3 now and in the past year, I got one hug from him and that was very brief because mom was giving me the evil eye. Mom is my daughter by the way, not an in law, not that it would make a lot of difference I guess. My son in law would probably let me take him on a camping trip for the weekend if it was up to him. Not that I'm ready for a 3 year old for an entire weekend.
Will we have Easter or not. Egg hunts are being delivered to your door by my church. Another town egg hunt amounts to driving through the park and having someone hand your child a bag of candy filled plastic eggs through the window. I guess you could hide them in your yard when you get home to give them some fun.
Trump says to get the vaccine. They hate him but seemed to think it important enough to have his make a public statement to this effect. Kind of ironic in a way.
