I will get a picture it looks like the end might wrap all the way over the end? It has a strange looking "seam" maybe. Looking right at the end it looks unlined. But when you look at the side of the muzzle it looks like it might have some seam that is finely joined? I really like the notch in the original sight. It is so fine I think i could do better with that sight. But the weather is supposed to be great this weekend so i will see.

Here is the muzzle. i believe it has a seem but you can not feel a lip or edge of any kind.

I see yes it is lined they sure did a great job of blending the liner to the original crown it is very hard to see the change after all these years. It sure is a cool rifle i love how the magazine catches the empties. It`s my first trainer and now my wife knows we`re in trouble. Now I have to have a M1922. I have been eyeballing those for several years drooling now i have to..... This rifle was just a opportunity that i couldn`t pass. I am so glad i went for it.

Yeah i love the fact it`s full weight and a actual SMLE that i can afford to shoot.

I see the PH on the barrel, so yes it would be Parker Hale who lined the barrel. I also have a 1918 PH lined .22 trainer.
They are so much fun to shoot and decent accuracy.

That was a great deal by the way. It would be over 1,000 Euro's over here!

I find the Cooey sight to be a distraction. When I flip up the sight to use the peep it co-witnesses the mid sight and it throws a glare that i cannot focus past. The notched sights on the cooey are two tall to use in the down position at a 25yd range. Since i have the mid sights that have been calibrated for the 22 i may sell the cooey sights. The mid sights work great for me with the cooey sight removed. Does anyone have a fair market value for a set of cooey sights? I might have to list them if there is an interest.

Have you tested the rifle yet? Before you sell the cooey sight; I would suggest trying it with the notch of the standard rear sight removed.
Or you can do as I have with the PH sight on an SMLE. I modified the rear sight notch by removing the rib on the underside and flipping it over; so the notch is fitted upside down when using the Match rear sight.
This way the standard sight does not interfere with the sight line of the match site. but if you want to revert to the standard sight, it's easy to just unscrew and flip the standard sight over so the notch is up.

Yes, she shoots great. Just way better shooting for me with the Standard sights. I am amazed by the firing pin mark on the Shell casings they don`t touch the RIM. It comes close but does not touch the rim ever. However I have shot 50 rds and not a single miss-fire and the pin really punches a deep mark. But The mark is so far off the rim it is amazing it works.
