I have as Springfield M1922M1 that will not cock. Is there anyone out there that is very familiar with the repair of this rifle or know someone that is?

Here is a video, showing a little about the differences on the MI and the M2 bolt. Unfortunately, it does not go further than to demonstrate how to remove the bolt head on the earlier model.
Will the bolt open and close? Can you remove the bolt? Can you pull the cocking knob back with the bolt closed? Is the sear in working order?
We need more info, please. Some pictures will help greatly. Thanks, and welcome.
My 1922 M1 does not have a cocking knob. If it does not cock when the bolt handle is lifted, I guess you could pull the headless cocking piece back with padded pliers.
