Hey y'all,
Hailing from D. Crockett country born in D. Boone's Gap town. Marine veteran, LE veteran, Federal Security Officer (retired).
Have been "accumulating" milsurps since a wee lad; NOTE: I am NOT a collector. I "accumulate" military firearms. "Collectors" have too many requirements for each piece. For a collector it's like building a palace: Every stone has to be the correct series, size, number, shape, color, etc., etc. For an "accumulator" the piece just needs to be "cool" to own, with a heavy dose of, "I just want one", thrown in.
I have my first question and as soon as I find a place to post it I need info on BRNO 98/22 rifles.

Hey,
A (short) introduction: I'm just a guy who collects out here in California, and poorly plays music as a hobby.

Hello the camp. New here. Wish I'd discovered this years ago when I was heavier int MilSurps and had a C&R, but health problems had life on hold for a while. Never too late to learn new stuff though.

Mr. Wizard?
So.. hello. Not much to say except I am in a quandary and was hoping to get help and maybe help in return later on down the road. I have come into possession of a generator that I can find no information about. It is a 1952 model and fairly massive. The engine runs but, I have yet to know what it puts out in electricity. It is a Portable Generator set Winterized, Model m60da6-w Fermont is the manufacturer. I like it because it is quiet came on a trailer and so far with tires it has only cost 800. I would appreciate any help on finding information about this machine. Thank you in advance Alsoin in case this is just a forum about firearms I have a 1946 Turkish mauser with a modified bolt to allow for top mounted scope. I use vital shock rounds and target practice with a 800 meter starter.

Hi all,
New to Milsurps. Pretty new to collecting, right now focusing on pre-1950 rifles. Already seeing a potential storage issue as I travel down the rabbit hole.
