    Yessir i agree...it looks like it has spent some time in urgent environments since it was assembled. Some may have been state side from previous owners. It came to me complete except missing two parts. The barrel band spring and the complete bolt is MIA. Also has the wrong cleaning rod installed. The rifle is otherwise from what i can tell legitimate. If anyone sees anything contrary to that in my photos please elaborate. I have found what i think is at least a period correct steyr complete bolt matching to itself that i will use to complete to rifle,,,,thats the best i can do i guess. Once the band spring and bolt arrive and I have them installed and the head spacing checked/corrected i am going to take it to the range for function testing. I would love to know the whole story of how the rifle come to be in this condition and missing its bolt. I bet that would a interesting tell.
