    With great difficulty haha. It's VERY front heavy.

    It does still chamber 45 ACP -- headspacing on the case mouth or in moon clips.

    These 1917s always seem to have lived a lot of different lives. I've owned three including this one. The other two (S&Ws) came to me in Hogue monogrips. I figure that means they were working guns somewhere not that long ago.
