SRS Request
Are there any fine folks here able to look up my Krags and tell me if the database has any info on them.
219755 and 395736
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

J-ROD - There is no 'hit' on either number.
Close to your first number is 219752, 219753, and 219855, all three are model 1898 rifles, issued in 1899.
Being close is irrelevant. IIRC - Only about 3 to 4 percent of U.S. Krags are 'direct hits'.

Thanks. Just curious as I’m the nostalgic type when it comes to rifles.
Does SRS go back to older rifles? I also have an 1873 Springfield Trapdoor (185685) that was passed down in the family and is currently in my keeping until my boy is well out of his impulse buying/selling phase.

J-ROD - Frank Mallory's collected SRS Data covers many U.S. martial arms, including 'trap-doors'.
I only have the Krag
numbers, which Mallory included in the appendix of the 2nd edition of "The Krag Rifle Story".
Your 'Trap-Door' question will get more attention on the "Other U.S. Service Rifles" forum.

I have first edition SRS and no hits there. Nothing for about a hundred either side.
