SSgross-- Understood. No problem. I was in Iraq from the initial invasion through mid-2004. I found the Iraqis to be very enterprising indeed. I once found several selling bathtub gin in bottles with a picture of Al Capone with a Tommygun. Only God knows what was in that brew.

ssgross-- I was attached as an Army officer to the 1st Marine Division commanded Maj. Gen. Mathis for the first six months of OIF1. The last six months I was attached to the 82nd Airborne in Ramadi. I was doing mostly counterintelligence work with a primary focus on force protection.

I was a corporal with the 24 Marine Expeditionary Unit. We did mix of the usual marine things.
