AFAIK know no farms have been confiscated, or contemplated to be confiscated. I live here and should know.

On the other hand, land restitution without compensation is a hotly debated topic, with draft legislation still in process. Possible finalisation end of 2022 but probably 2023.

It's over, demographically and in every other sense.

Africa will be China's "problem" in future and China will solve that problem slowly but inexorably.

Many there would believe it is their natural right to do so, and one could certainly make that case; they value their own nation and culture enough to reproduce and thereby preserve it.

Those who can't be bothered to do so, despite all the luxuries of life in the Western World since WWII? They have decided their own fate.
