25th series, Kokura Arsenal, Arisaka Type 38, serial 00451

Finished up on the Arisaka type 38 Japanese rifle with bayonet from 1935 era. Totally, a better firearm than the type 99, and a lot of other rifles. I put some rounds down range and it AWESOME for a 80ish year old rifle, I set the headspace exact for a safe, realible rifle. Hopefully I was able to enlighten you on my project. I believe that this is "more qualified" as a type 38 since everything is hand fitted, checked and re checked for safety, authenticity, everything is correct, nothing is fake, nothing is a mis mash of parts thrown together, every screw, bolt, is perfect, the heads are perfect, I am able to take it out and shoot it with confidence that it's better than a new rifle, it's going to be a really great addition to my armory.
