Yep, the CMPbarrel is parked, so I had all the metal parked to match and look like the WW2 era rebuild. I was worried about bolt setback on the receiver, an early Winchester, but it turned out to be a non issue. It was always going to be a shooter, so finishing it this way made sense.
Surprisingly, soon after this project was complete I came into another m1917 barreled receiver, an Eddystone, and then was lucky to get a stock as a gift. I already had a front sight and stock metal, so only needed a few parts more and now I have two 17s. Neither is collectible, but both shoot great, and I'm happy with the results.
