K.C. served his country in World War II and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired from civil service after 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy S. Finley; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Joe Taylor; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ken Jr. and Dene Finley, Keith and Retia Finley and Kirk and Belinda Finley; stepdaughter, Diane Aden; sister, Annie Crowl; sister-in-law, Lois Raney; two grandchildren, Nicole McCormick and Mindy Penney; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; and extended loving family, Larry and Melba Lay, Jenny Lay, David and Beth Phillips and their children, Madison and Cole Phillips, Elizabeth Wooten, Rosalind Morgan and Wanda Whitmer. K.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Virginia Finley.
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.
