Yep, Dodge Weapons Carrier is what they are generically referred to as.
Ironically, in Sept 1996, a mere 2 months after my uncle that is in the photo passed away, I spent 3 days driving a mates Dodge Weapons Carrier, affectionally name 'Alice', around northern France

Just talking to Peter L about Britains Small Wars edition on TV on the weekend about Malaya, where we both served.
In my opinion they were the "Good old days" running around the sweaty jungle knowing once that was over we could all relax in Bughi Street, Singapore over one or two or three beers together
He is in good spirits and hopes to be back on soon

One of my uncles (my godfather) was a WO2 in the REME, and was stationed in Singapore for 2 years from late 1952 to late 1954...ish.

Yes both Neesoon and Seletar camps had strong REME units.
